For those in the northeastern area of NC, it seems that the Navy has scrapped the previous five sites proposed for the Outlying Landing Fields (OLF). One of those sites being considered was Perquimans County, where we live. This is great new for those living in Perquimans County and for our church. Thanks, God!
We are relieved that we are no longer in consideration, but still wonder if there is a real need for this type of training facility.
