The Man's Breakfast

This morning we had The Man's Breakfast at our church. I always look forward to eating, but the Man's Breakfast is always great. We always cook too much food, so there is always plenty to eat. As we were talking, most of us have cereal each morning, so the bacon, eggs and whole deal was a real treat. I feel like I need to get some serious exercise this afternoon.

We're wanting to do some "man" stuff, so we made a list of things that we're planning to do. Next Friday we are going to a Truck and Tractor pull. We're planning a hunting & camping retreat for February. We're also looking to make a fishing trip, car races, the rodeo, a minor-league baseball game, car show and maybe even a trip to tour a nuclear submarine. I'm excited about the adventures that we'll take together.

I'm also excited about the journey we are about to begin with The Man's Group. We're going to gather on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month to look as issues that we face as men and how God wants us to live. I'm even more excited about this journey we're about to take.

As I said in yesterday's post, Over My Head, life is easier when we do things together. I'll even bet that it's more fun. I'm looking to have a blast.
